Here is a list of other useful links for organizations we rely on to keep us up to date on the most current news and analysis in healthcare reform. Please let us know if you would like to see additional information added.
The Commonwealth Fund - a private foundation that aims to promote a high performing health care system that achieves better access, improved quality, and greater efficiency, particularly for society's most vulnerable, through research.
Kaiser Family Foundation - a non-profit organization focusing on national health issues, as well as the U.S. role in global health policy.
Families USA - a nonprofit, nonpartisan organization dedicated to the achievement of high-quality, affordable health care and improved health for all.
Raising Women's Voices - RWV is a national initiative working to make sure women’s voices are heard and women’s concerns are addressed as policymakers put the health care law into action.
Planned Parenthood - Planned Parenthood believes in the fundamental right of each individual, throughout the world, to manage his or her fertility, regardless of the individual's income, marital status, race, ethnicity, sexual orientation, age, national origin, or residence. NARAL - Protect Our Choice A reproductive rights organization that advocates for protecting and expanding reproductive freedom.
Urban Institute - The Health Policy Center of the Urban Institute whose mission is to to open minds, shape decisions, and offer solutions through economic and social policy research.
Center for American Progress - is an independent nonpartisan policy institute that is dedicated to improving the lives of all Americans, through bold, progressive ideas, as well as strong leadership and concerted action.
Congressional Budget Office - produces independent analyses of budgetary and economic issues to support the Congressional budget process. Each year, the CBO produces dozens of reports and hundreds of cost estimates for proposed legislation. CBO is strictly nonpartisan; conducts objective, impartial analysis; and hires its employees solely on the basis of professional competence without regard to political affiliation
Center on Budget and Policy Priorities - is a nonpartisan research and policy institute designed to pursue policies to reduce poverty and inequality and to restore fiscal responsibility in equitable and effective ways.
National Health Law Program - protects and advances the health rights of low-income and underserved individuals and families. NHeLP advocates, educates and litigates at the federal and state levels.
