No Vote on Healthcare Bill This Week

In a conference call Thursday afternoon, Minority House Whip Steny Hoyer of Maryland said the earliest a vote could come would be next Wednesday, May 3.

That's why we must use the next several days to reach out to members of Congress who remain undecided. As of 4:00 PM Thursday, there were 58 Republicans still undecided or who voted no on the first bill.  There are currently 21 NO votes. A total of 22 NO votes would kill the bill.

Please, if you or someone you know lives in a state w/ Republican Representatives and Senators, get an email to them saying that AHCA 2.0 is unacceptable and you expect them to oppose it. 24 million people would lose their health care, millions more would find it unaffordable and at the same time billions of $s of costs would be shifted to the already stretched state budgets. This is unacceptable in our country - let them know we won't stand for it
